So, here we go! Doctor time is almost upon us, which means this needs to get sorted out fast. First of all, keep in mind that each player can only have one of their characters in therapy. There just aren't enough doctors to account for all of the patients, unfortunately. (Remember that you can switch which character gets therapy next time this happens, so it isn't like it'll be set in stone if you end up wanting to change things around.)

Some of you already have assignments, but a lot of those have now gotten misplaced due to a few doctors dropping out. But as mentioned, you are allowed to switch, especially since we have a few new doctors. Here is the current roster:

Anyway! If you currently have a character that is assigned to a doctor, take POLL 1.

If you do not have a character assigned to any doctor, take POLL 2.

EVERYONE HAS TO FILL OUT THIS POLL. If you don't fill it out, none of your characters will be in therapy.

Also, the rules for how we do all of this:

1) Each doctor gets an equal amount of patients: By dividing the character count of the community, we figure out how many patient slots each doctor has.

2) Players with a previously-listed character who want that character to keep their doctor WILL keep their slot. HOWEVER, IF YOU DO NOT VOTE IN POLL 1 EVEN AFTER WE PUT UP A WARNING/REMINDER POST OF WHEN THE POLLS CLOSE, YOU FORFEIT THAT SPOT. (This, of course, excludes people on excused hiatus.)

3) Players with new characters or who want to change doctors get randomized according to who they ask for, and who gets first priority depends on the luck of the draw. (Characters listed as "don't care" will fill up the empty slots at the end.)

4) If, when your character comes up, all slots are taken for their first-choice doctor, your character defaults to their second choice, and if those slots are all taken up, your character defaults to their third choice, and... we hope your third choice doesn't get filled up. D: (We're making the results of the polls public so that you can see which doctor ends up being the most popular and maybe make a decision based on that if you aren't really set on anyone.)

5) PLAYERS WHO DON'T VOTE IN EITHER POLL WILL NOT GET TO HAVE ANY OF THEIR CHARACTERS IN THERAPY. We will put up reminders to make sure everyone sees the polls, but once they close you've lost your chance. Sorry. :\

Sorry to those I'm threading with! I've been so slow in posting the last few days- I super promise I'll get back to posting in a day or so. I've been working on these Christmas costumes and a custom plush for a trade, and my creativity has been sapped unbelievably by diverting it into those areas.

Sorry again! The Scarecrow, Leonard, and Edgar will be back to normalish posting as soon as I get these costumes done, honest. Until then, they're going to be slower than normal. :x

I'm going to go on slow posting until December 15. That's when my semester ends, and I'm behind on one class, don't know what's up with another class, and I'm getting sick. PLUS I have performance finals next week, and I have to actually work hard on those since, like I said, SICK. 8|

I'll be around, but not as much as I have been recently. I should have said something a few days ago, so to those of you I'm threading with, sorry.

This affects Asch the Bloody, Allen Walker, and Haine Rammsteiner. In theory it affects Tim Drake as well, but he hasn't been doing anything this NS anyway since Nightwing-mun is having really bad comp issues.

Hopefully when the semester break hits I'll be better off. I'm sure I will.

Slow posting is lasting longer than I thought, I'm getting flipped from nightshift to day to night again at work. Might be slow posting for a few days, need to see how Monday turns out.

So this was where the crazy bastards scrubbed down after playing doctor with the stiffs or whatever else they could get their hands on. The shapes of a locker and several benches were faintly visible in the dark and Jason carefully navigated his way around them to the door at the other end of the room.

Two-Face's idea wasn't bad. It would at least make little Timmy sweat, though he'd have to try and make sure there was nothing to link him to Dent. For it to work though he'd have to reveal Drake's identity or enough that Two-Face could find the fake on his own. It was something he'd known from the start - if they went ahead with the plan to use Robin to get at Batman then Two-Face would have to find out who was under the mask was. Going after either of them here - without any masks to hide behind - it was unavoidable. He knew that.

Then it shouldn't feel like something to big, to open his mouth and reveal Robin's identity to someone who was an enemy, who'd tried to kill Robin - not just the fake but all of them at different times. It hadn't been this Two-Face but the possibility was still there. It shouldn't matter at all. But it did.

But Jason pushed on. "His name's Tim Drake." Just that easy, it was out there. No taking it back. He stopped, almost expecting..... something, he didn't know what. Because this should be important. He didn't know why - it wasn't like he and the fake were brothers - they sure as hell weren't family just because Bruce had fallen head over heels for the little ass-kisser - it wasn't any sort of betrayal to do this.

He had no intentions of killing the kid. He was just making his next move. It was nothing.

While the transition from night to morning wasn't usually so abrupt, he fully expected to wake up tucked into his bed the following morning. Instead, he woke to hard-packed earth and sand against his cheek. He startled up into a sitting position, momentarily blinded by the bright light streaming in from above in the huge room he'd woken up in.

There wasn't an exit, as far as he could tell. The walls around him rose up high and gave him an uncomfortable feeling of nostalgia. Being trapped with insurmountable walls on every side was enough to make him hug his coat closer around him despite the room's average temperature. Everything felt so surreal, he supposed it could all be a waking dream, but somehow that didn't feel right either. Several yards away, someone else was stirring. Yue? Where were Sakura and Touya then? Above the walls, too high for any normal person to climb, were what looked like stands. Rows of seats above them. What was this place?

Aside from all that, his magic had returned, just as strong as ever. It'd been so faint before, it was almost overwhelming to have access to it now. That should be more than enough to send them all home, right? If that were even possible. It would be worth a try though, assuming he could find them all.

Sean's legs were starting to burn from the effort of keeping Schuldig on his back. It was only a few more feet, he told himself. Like he always did when he was running with the soccer team. He was always last, but he could finish the run at least.

The boy pulled Schuldig over to the plush red carpet in the center of the room and lay him down. The sofa probably would have been a better choice, but Sean intended to barricade the door with that.

'Check his heart!'

"Check his heart!" Sean said as he passed Chris on his way back to the door. He closed it, then rounded the couch. With a grunt, Sean started pushing it towards the door. It was taking him a while, though, as the couch was much heavier than Schuldig and he was moving it across carpet.

Oi. Um. This is going to seem completely out of the blue, but I'm going to call an indefinite hiatus for Spidey. Kurt, Terry, and Kitty, you guys can feel free to head on out into the night without him.

Also Court and Aison? I know I've been super ridiculously slow with our FoC threads, but is it okay if we let them be for now? I don't know how long I'll be on hiatus for, but we can always pick them up later, right? <<; I'm sorry guys.

I'll still be up for the Secret Santa thing, but it's for the best that I kinda steer away from the rest of damned for the next little bit. And I know I've been flailing about apping a second character since forever jerking some serious chains here, I know, but I'm going to put that on hold too. I think nestling myself further into RP like that and basking in the giddiness of new characters is just my way of making it easier to forget that I've put my real life on hold for a year and it's...wow, yeah, not healthy. At all. Embarrassingly unhealthy.

I'm really sorry. Especially since I didn't admit to any of this sooner. alsk;djhf;alksj It's been an ongoing thought for a while now actually, I didn't want to say it out loud but I think it's better to take a break than to take a plunge. So to speak. D| *spills fail everywhere*

Back from unannounced hiatus, NS threads will start rolling again within 24 hours.

Also, a question: are the poles from the Staff Patio umbrellas made of metal, or plastic?

Hey, dear muns of Keman, Scott Pilgrim and Howl:

These guys are all in the same hallway, Scott and Indy are looking for people to perform heroics on, and we'd talked about Keman meeting up with them at some point. Also, I just noticed that Keman's currently being eaten(?!), which is the kind of thing Indy might also notice.

Do you all want to join threads, or should we do a time skip?

Hey! Quick question since I realized that Harvey and Jason are about to head into the hallway where Dias is currently collapsed. Even though the two are kind of bastards, they might notice him and think that they should do something (Harvey would flip his coin over it, at least; I don't want to speak for Jason), so how do we want to play this? I know that Anise, Celes, and Claude are heading up to find him, so... should we just do a timewarp and act as if Dias isn't there, or what?

Her sight was almost entirely adjusted to the dark by now, but that didn't make the atmosphere any more inviting. As they pressed onwards, Anthy found that she could not hide from Utena's question. The ease with which she used to answer the other girl was complicated by her anxieties from being placed here and still not understanding the purpose. And again, she was forced play an act; Utena had been brainwashed and there was little hope of reaching her. Still, she held the sword, she held the light.

Utena's presence was both a comfort and a quiet torment. Keeping her hands folded by her lap as she walked, Anthy paused before responding. She searched inside for a reason to lie and found none. It was another quiet jab: even after everything, it had been quite difficult, to walk away from Akio.

"I suppose you could say that. Something about this place reminds me of him, although I don't expect to ever see him again."
